About: I am 20 years old and am avid sports jockey. I love playing ping pong, volleyball, swimming, soccer and tennis. I started rowing because i needed something to do that wasn't swimming and i fell in love with the competitive nature of the sport. At heart i'm a very competitive person and I like to put time in when i get results out. This year I am the Florida Crew Travel Chair.
Career: Started Rowing my freshman year, started off stroking the top 8 in the fall and moved to 2 seat of the 8 for the spring season. It was the first successful season for a UF mens novice team in a long time, 1st at FIRA, 4th at SIRA, 3rd at John Hunter and 1st in the MNV4 at ACRA. For 2017-2018, I rowed in the top 8 as 4 seat, where we won Head of the Hooch for the first time and had a pretty good showing for the rest of the season. Back again for a third season, this year I have been stroking mens varsity 8, with a stint to head of the Charles in a 4 where we placed 20th, enough to secure a bid for next year.

Favorite Memory about Crew: The post-race adrenaline and exhaustion that came after finding out that we won the Head of the Hooch last year.
