Founded in 1984, we have never let the classification "club" define our performance or results. We compete against Division I, II, & III teams, as well as other club teams, in one of the most physically and mentally rigorous sports in the world.

Florida Club Rowing started off as just a small group of passionate athletes. They rowed in mixed men/women lineups until they had enough rowers to separate into women's and men's team. Now we have about 100 rowers, and four full teams: Novice Women, Novice Men, Varsity Women and Varsity Men.

 

We have pushed ourselves into the national spotlight with our Women's Novice 8+ securing gold at Head of the Hooch in 2024, our Men's 2x obtaining gold at FIRA 2025, our Women's Varsity 8+ taking gold at SIRA 2025, our Men's 4x for winning the 2025 national championship (ACRA).
